at Sherfield Village Hall,
Key for Two
Harriet, a divorcee living in an elegant flat in Brighton, solves her financial problems by entertaining two married gentlemen callers on different days of the week. The scheme faces collapse when her friend Anne, whose marriage is tottering, arrives at the flat hotly pursued by her husband. One of Harriet’s lovers is confined to her bed with a sprained ankle and the second lover turns up unexpectedly, closely followed by two irate wives in search of their itinerant husbands. The indescribable confusion that ensues builds to a rich complexity of mistaken identity, splendidly farcical situations and a climax of comic wizardry.

Reviews from the audience:
"I didn't have an opportunity to tell you how much we enjoyed the production. It couldn't have been an easy play to rehearse, and they did it so well. We also thought the set was excellent on such a small stage. Please pass on our congratulations to the cast and director on an excellent show. We thoroughly enjoyed it."

"I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed a first class performance from all on Saturday. It was a great script and soooooo funny! I really did laugh and it did give me wild ideas as to how I might make some extra money if I decide to go it alone! Ha! Ha! All the cast were brilliant and the lighting, sound, front of house, prompt, props, etc. fantastic as usual. Not to mention the skill of the Director in putting it all together! Well done to everyone! The guests I brought along thought it was highly professional and said that it was the best production they have seen performed by the Loddon Players. They haven't been to them all so it is not a fair comparison!! Thanks for an enjoyable, light-hearted evening of fun and humour! ."
